辨析对比
- this（这个）指近处，说的时候东西就在手边或眼前；
- that（那个）指远处，常常要用手指一指；
- Is this...? 和 Is that...? 的回答完全一样：Yes, it is. / No, it isn't.——别答成 Yes, this is. ❌
- 再记一对好朋友：here（这里）配 this，there（那里）配 that。
文化角
在英美的小学里，library（图书馆）常常是学校最热闹的地方之一：孩子们每周有固定的 Library Time，可以把喜欢的书借回家。
有意思的是，英式英语和美式英语对"一楼"的说法不一样：美国人说 first floor 就是一楼；英国人的一楼叫 ground floor，first floor 反而是二楼！我们课本里用的是美式说法。
