你想了想，给出建议：Why don't you write her a letter to say sorry?（你为什么不写封信向她道歉呢？）

建议句型五件套：Why don't you...? / Why not...? / You could... / You should... / What about doing...?
句型与语法
① 五种建议句型（注意后面接什么）
- Why don't you + 动词原形...? = Why not + 动词原形...?：Why don't you talk to your parents? = Why not talk to your parents?
- You could/should + 动词原形：You could go to his house and say sorry.
- What/How about + doing...?：What about watching a movie to relax?
② until（直到……）
- 肯定句 + until 表动作持续到某点：I waited until the rain stopped. 另外 not... until 表"直到……才"：He didn't go to bed until his father came back.（爸爸回来他才睡。）
③ so that（以便、为了）
引导目的状语从句，从句常有 can/could：I turned down the music so that I wouldn't wake up my sister.
④ although / though（虽然）
- Although it was late, he went on studying.（铁律：although 和 but 不能同时出现在一个句子里。）

辨析对比
① Why don't you...? vs Why not...?
- 两者意思完全相同，都接动词原形；区别只在形式：Why don't you go...? 有主语，Why not go...? 没有主语。
② so that vs so... that

- although 与 but 连用：Although he is young, but he knows a lot. ❌ → 去掉 but ✅
- What about 后接原形：What about go shopping? ❌ → What about going shopping? ✅
- allow 的搭配：allow sb. to do sth.（主动）；be allowed to do sth.（被动）——to 不能丢。
