班里正在商量周末去野餐，有同学担心天气："如果明天下雨怎么办？"英语这样说：If it rains tomorrow, we won't go for a picnic.（如果明天下雨，我们就不去野餐。）
注意看这句话的"玄机"：说的明明是明天的事，if 从句里却用了一般现在时 rains，而主句用了将来时 won't go。这就是 if 条件句最重要的规则——主将从现：主句用将来时，从句用一般现在时。记住这四个字，本课就成功了一大半。

句型与语法
基本结构：If + 从句（一般现在时），主句（一般将来时）。

- 从句在后不用逗号：We will go boating if it is sunny tomorrow.
主句的三种常见形式：
- ① 一般将来时：If you eat too much candy, your teeth will go bad.
- ② 情态动词（can / may / must）：If you finish early, you can go home.
- ③ 祈使句：If you see Tom, please tell him the news.
注意三点：
- 从句主语是三单时，动词要加 s：If he comes, I will call you.
- 从句否定：If you don't hurry, you will miss the bus.
- unless = if...not：Unless you hurry, you will be late. = If you don't hurry, you will be late.

如果链游戏（一人说条件，下一人接结果，再把结果变成新条件）：
- If I get up late, I will miss the bus.
- If I miss the bus, I will be late for school.
- If I am late for school, the teacher will be unhappy.
跟读强化：if 从句和主句之间有短暂停顿，逗号处换气；will 缩读成 'll 更自然：If it rains, we'll stay at home.
辨析对比
① 条件状语从句的 if（如果）vs 宾语从句的 if（是否）：条件句用主将从现 → If it rains tomorrow, I will stay at home.（如果下雨）；宾语从句时态照实际情况用 → I don't know if it will rain tomorrow.（是否下雨）
② if vs when：if 表"如果"，事情不一定发生：If he comes, I will tell him.；when 表"当……时"，事情肯定会发生：When he comes, I will tell him.

英语谚语里藏着许多 if 句：If at first you don't succeed, try, try again.（一次不成，再接再厉。）If winter comes, can spring be far behind?（冬天来了，春天还会远吗？——雪莱《西风颂》）用一句 if 谚语开头，作文瞬间有文采。
