九月开学第一天，同桌见面第一句话往往是："假期去哪儿玩了？"英语里问法几乎一模一样：Where did you go on vacation? 你可以回答：I went to Qiandao Lake.（我去了千岛湖。）
注意到了吗？谈假期用的全是一般过去时——因为假期已经结束，动作发生在过去。本单元我们就围绕"假期见闻"练熟过去时，再加上一组好用的复合不定代词：something、anything、nothing、everything。

重点规则：形容词修饰复合不定代词要后置——something special（特别的东西），不能说 special something。

假期采访（两人一组，用过去时互相提问）：

- Did you eat anything delicious? — Yes! I ate Hangzhou-style fried shrimp.
跟读要点：did you 连读近似"迪就"，注意过去式词尾 -ed 的三种读音：visited 读 /ɪd/，watched 读 /t/，stayed 读 /d/。
辨析对比
① anything vs something
- 疑问句一般用 anything：Did you buy anything?
- 但表示请求或建议、期待肯定回答时用 something：Would you like something to drink?
② because vs because of
- because + 句子：We stayed at home because it rained.
- because of + 名词/代词：We stayed at home because of the rain.
