开学第一天，新同学自我介绍："I am Li Lei." 你介绍同桌："She is my friend. We are in Class Two." 同样表示"是"，英语里却有 am / is / are 三副面孔——它们就是 be 动词。
用哪一个，完全由前面的人称代词（我、你、他、她、它、我们、他们）决定。学会这套"配对规则"，你就能说出成千上万个正确的英语句子。

句型与语法
核心口诀：我用 am，你用 are，is 跟着他她它；单数 is，复数 are，见了复数都用 are。
① be 动词的选择规则
- am：只跟 I 搭配 → I am happy.
- is：跟第三人称单数（he / she / it / 单个人名 / 单数名词）→ Tom is my brother. / The book is new.
- are：跟 you / we / they 及所有复数 → The students are in the classroom.
② 三种基本句型
- 肯定句：主语 + am/is/are + 其他 → My mother is a doctor.
- 否定句：在 be 动词后面直接加 not → She is not (isn't) at home. / They aren't here.
- 一般疑问句：把 be 动词提到句首 → Are you from Hangzhou? — Yes, I am. / No, I'm not.
- 注意：回答 "Are you...?" 要换角度答 "I am"，不能照抄 "you are"；主格代词（He/She/They）只能放句首当主语，不能说 Him is my father.
听说训练
同桌问答（用 be 动词互相介绍，注意 I'm / he's / they're 的连读）：
- Are you in Class One? — No, I'm not. I'm in Class Three.
- Is your English teacher Ms. Wang? — Yes, she is. She is very kind.
- Are Lily and Lucy sisters? — Yes, they are. They are twins.
辨析对比
① is 还是 are？看主语"真身"
- Tom and Jack 是两个人，算复数：Tom and Jack are friends.
- my brother 是一个人，算单数：My brother is ten.
② it's 与 its
- it's = it is：It's a nice day.（今天天气真好。）
- its 是形容词性物主代词"它的"：The cat likes its new home. 两词读音相同，写作时最容易混。
文化角
英语打招呼离不开 be 动词：How are you? — I am fine, thank you. And you? 更地道的回答还有 Pretty good! / Not bad! 初次见面常说 "Nice to meet you."，对方回 "Nice to meet you, too."——一来一回，礼貌又自然。
易错点
- be 动词配错：He are my friend. ❌ → He is my friend. ✅
- 漏掉 be 动词：I thirteen years old. ❌ → I am thirteen years old. ✅
- be 动词重复：She is come from Beijing. ❌ → She is from Beijing. ✅
- 回答不换人称：— Are you a student? — Yes, you are. ❌ → Yes, I am. ✅
